Mimosa
(early summer 2004-9.10.2006)
Mimosa came to our family 3rd of September 2005. We took
her from the animal shelter here in Porvoo. They had
found Mimosa in the springtime when she was waiting for
kittens. In the shelter Mimosa gave birth to 2 little cute
kittycats and both of them are in good homes. Mimosa lived
in the shelter about 6 months before she came to our family.
She had very odd sense of humour and she liked to play
a lot, sometimes, i think, even too much... Especially
in the early mornings. Unfortunately Mimosa became very sick
and we did everything we could to save her. So we had to let
her to be with Donna and Tessa in the rainbow bridge. Mimosa
was our loved friend so Thank you, Mimosa, for beeing here
with us this lovely year.

Tessa (Bristregal Face of Regal)
(18.5.1999-13.9.2005)
A couple of years i fancied another dog and
so came Tessa to buzz my family. I had been
dreaming about beardie quite a time and i can
still remember the day when Tessa came.
She was so tiny and cute. Just like a soft toy.
We trained obedience and agility. Tessa loved
agility, maybe i think, too much. She entertained
audience by playing different kind of tricks.
But never doing things i told her to do.
I had no guts to go any official competitions
and after Tessas 2 years birthday, she came only
my companion. Last summer i became interested in
obedience so we started to practice again. I had
thought of competing again, because beardies never
grow up. But her life ended too fast too early.
She had a kidney disease and my only option was to
let her sleep forever. My sorrow is even bottomless.
Tessa brought light, joy and humour into my life.

Donna
(19.3.1996-8.7.2003)
Donna was my first dog. Her dad was a beardie and
mom was a mixed breed of labradors retriever,
finnish hound and snautzer. When Donna was
only 1 year old, our life changed radically. We
moved from the countryside to the middle of town.
Donna wasn't used to walk in the leash and all the
noises were new. Then i decided to practice some
obedience and agility. After 6 months hard work,
i assigned us to our first official agility-
competition. After several competitions, Donnas
back was getting very bad and i decided to
quit competing with her. But Donna was
that kind of dog, who loves to do something. So
i trained her to search people. And she loved
to do that and she was very talented too.
The end of Donnas story was, she got a cancer
only 6 years old. After an year i had to make
decision, she doesn't suffer anymore.
Donna was that dog, who teached me the most.
